Poemattic: Poetry and Art for the Soul

On the edge of humanity

A place to congregate souls

I found an Alchemist’s Studio

who promised to heal our broken hearts

he warned us about pointless overthinking

because it could lead us to drinking

We all look for a source of inspiration

Sometimes through an open lens

Or even in a poem attic

Where we may find a laughing soul

Truth be told

Just ask the crow on the wire

Where he perches waiting to be called

To the poet’s corner

Or to the Literary Hub

Great muses all meet there

They all know a writer’s soul

and a microcosm explored

the poetry and art of the soul.

So we should stick together

Share our thoughts and the charmed chaos

We may find

Under seedbud, leaf and twig.

We all know

The art of blogging

Is slowly developed

And each time

A fellow blogger “likes’

Or comments on your work

It makes your day worthwhile
