The only thing missing in the above statement is Jesus. Short term happiness comes from ice cream and poems and good days, but true, lasting happiness and deep joy comes only from knowing and loving Jesus Christ. Like you said, enjoy happiness when it comes, and don’t worry about the future. Jesus said the same thing,
