89 days – There is no next.

There is no next

There may be a tomorrow at best

but be sure of your now

The time is now

We know what is happening now

If you happen to be sad,

it is only in the now.

Therefore, happiness is now.

Love is now.

We need to listen now.

We need to act now.

Everyday of this countdown is now.

The truth is only now.

Are you listening to that truth?

The challenge is only now.

Our challenge is right now.

Listen carefully.

The greatest message is only now.

We can do it together in the now.

Just remember; there is no next.

I want to share this video with Dr. Deepak Chopra regarding focusing on the now and present. Hopefully this will help some of you during this pandemic. We all need to be healthy and happy again. We need to be in the now together to effect the changes we want starting now. Be safe, Be aware. The second video is a session with Eckhart Tolle where he talks about the now. I hope this creates some awareness. Enjoy and be safe. Please leave me your thoughts in the comments.

Happiness

“True happiness is . . . to enjoy the present, without anxious dependence upon the future.”

                                                                                                                                 – Seneca

                                                                                          Happiness:

licking a strawberry

ice cream cone.

Déjà vu?

Déjà vu?

Perhaps a past life has collided

with my present one,

When I heard someone ask,

“Have you been here before?”

I respond, “Do I know you?”

It answered, “Yes, but you only lived in the present.”

My present life became angry, frustrated.

The questions about life were so many.

It could not remember the Now.

Déjà vu?

“Who are you?”

“I AM!”

Déjà vu?

“Will you be there too?”

“Only if you live with purpose.”

“Is that all that is required? I get it.”

Déjà vu?

“I think I get it. Do you?”

Existence

Existence

Where we are

by far

defines our existence.

But where are we really?

Are we here, in the now, in the present?

Or are we not in existence?

Are we in our own imagination?

A figment?

I like to think I am

inside this painting;

going around in circles

without a worry,

the universe embracing me

until I become a wave.

Here is Now

Now is here

Here is now

I am here to be me

and to be you somehow

we are a part of each other

every instant, every moment

of the day.

Each moment counts

the now

the  present

and who is to say

what will be

it is what it is

and what is is

not tomorrow

but right now

It is now that I AM
Is there any doubt?

A Poem to Celebrate

Today and only today

for now anyway

I want to celebrate

my life.

I want to celebrate right now

who I have become

who I was

and who I am right this very minute.

Why?

because it is easy to forget these things.

because we forget that life is too short;

I want to celebrate my life right now.

This poem is to celebrate

the now

this very instant

the essence of this second

the miracles that happen within a minute’s time

like the birth of a child

or the reviving of a life.

I want to celebrate the number of breaths

that have been programmed just for me.

We are all given a only certain number

of breaths during our lifetime.

I want to celebrate the first and the last one now.

I cannot remember the first and do not know when the last will be.

I want to celebrate

my poems

the letters that gave life to my words

the thoughts that gave life to me

and the force

that made me think about

who I am now.

I want to celebrate

today and only today

for now anyway

my life

what I celebrate tomorrow

will depend on today.

“Find the narrow gate that leads to life.” It is called the now.Narrow your life down to this moment. (Tolle, 1999)
