Poemattic: Poetry and Art for the Soul

Today’s inspiration

is a little boy named Nicholas

He always has a smile for me

His eyes ask quietly.

When I read him a story

he listens  carefully.

He’s only eleven months old

seems to know a good story

when it’s told

His eyes are big and brown

and laugh on their own

Nicholas is a happy baby and does not know about a frown

 

This is why he is my inspiration

All his world is fascination

I wonder what he does with his imagination.

 

I try to look at things through his eyes

because his small world is all surprise.
