Pictures scattered on the bed

lay there helpless and shocked

almost knowing

not one of them is current

and that they cannot help the search

for another child missing.

 

One picture whispers, “pray”

the rest in unison respond,

“we have.”

 

Positive thoughts go out to the families of children abducted from close to home.
