Looking inside through my window
from the outside
I try to catch a glimpse of myself.
But the wide window reflects only the
hustle and bustle of a city that used to be.
Now no one is free
to roam the streets
and hang out anymore.
All I hear are the screeching sounds of ambulance sirens
alerting us to remain calm,
because we are not the one being transported
to heaven yet.
I look up and see three clouds converge
and shape hope for me once again.
Some might say it is a miracle.
Some will not ever believe again.
But I pray anyway,
that we will unite
how to come together
because our lives depend on it.
Unus pro omnibus!
One for all.
