Found Poem # 1

Dedicated to my doctor

 

Listen to the gifts of your heart

There is a rhythm to life

Laughter and love heals all

So much to do, so little time

 

I trapped a moonbeam in a bottle

enjoyed my morning walks in the woods

Everything is fine

Pressed fall foliage in my journal

to test the power of time

 

What is this new hope I feel?

my heart beats strong again

Life is beautiful!

Live it well my friend.

I believe a poem can change your life forever. I know many poems I read as a child made a difference in my life. I learned to believe in me. My senses started living along side me. My appreciation for nature and life increased by one hundred percent. As a result I paint, love photography, and I listen and try to pay attention a little bit more to everything around me. I also became a teacher to honor all those teachers who set me straight about life and learning.
